E-Brief Writing Service

What Are E-Briefs?

E-Briefs are what litigants file nowadays in the U. S. District Courts using the Electronic Case Filing System.

How different are they from regular, paper briefs?

Quite a bit different. They must be specially prepared so they can be word-searched by the court using Adobe Acrobat. You cannot simply scan a written document and file it. Nor does it look very spiffy when you submit exhibits that are printouts of digital material (like webpages or screen captures), that have been scanned so they look like old photocopies instead of nice, crisp digital productions.

Does your average lawyer know how to prepare one?

Generally lawyers are better thinkers and writers than they are geeks, and can use some help to prepare out a visually attractive brief. Since good design is perceived as easier to use, an attractive brief is a more persuasive brief.

Who can help lawyers to bridge the knowledge gap and prepare attractive, persuasive E-Briefs?

I provide services for lawyers who need assistance writing and filing E-Briefs, and one thing is sure — the first time you have to file an E-Brief is not the time to learn. For lawyers who want to outsource the entire writing project, I can research and write the brief from start to finish. For cost estimates, please call me at 520-841-0835.
